In Florida we don`t pay state tax. We pay medicare, SSI, and Income tax to the government.  I have heard that a lot of states make you pay taxes on your car every year. And other things too. We don`t have that here. What state do you live in and do you have to pay this kind of tax every year? 

I live in South Carolina and they tax us too death. we pay taxes on cars, house, additions to our home. We never really own anything because we are always paying for it.

In NY it seems like we have high taxes. We actully live outside of town, so our taxes aren't as bad as those living in town.  We pay property taxes and school taxes every year.  We don't have to pay additional tax on our cars, just the regular taxes when we purchase it.
