As soon as my son hit 16, the credit card companies found him!   I don't get how these companies think that they are doing something good for these teenagers.  Give a teenager a credit card and they end up in trouble.

Is there anyway to get your kids name off the list so they dont' send credit card applications in the mail weekly?

My boys also got these. Look on the back of the form. There is a 1 800 number you can call to take the name off the list. Thats what I did for us too. We got them every day in the mail for us and our kids. I`m surprised my dogs don`t get them. 

It seems that this problem is mostly in the States and Canada. In Europe it would be very hard for a teen to get a card unless the parents get it for them or if they would have a really well paying job.
