I have a masters degree in Early Childhood Education.  When my first child was born, I went threw 7 babysitters by the time he was 2.  I finally decided to give up my teaching job and raise my own children.  Looking back, I have no regrets.  Many of my friends ask me why I don't go back to teaching now that my youngest is 8.  I enjoy working from home.

Would you consider giving up your career for your family?

My wife gave up her career as hotel manager when our first son was born. I believe that it is very beneficial if one parent stays at home and takes care of the kid.

If the situation is highly important I would give up my career. My mother gave up her career when we were born and she raised us with love and fair and same goes to my siblings.
